Northern Liberties

Northern Liberties is a unique neighborhood located just north of downtown Philadelphia. Built in 1791, the first suburb of Philadelphia is now an eclectic and artsy mix of modern and historical design. As editors of Northern Liberties Review, we hope to bring the same distinctive and diverse feel to our contributors and readers.

Northern Liberties Review acquires First North American Serial Rights (FNASR), including electronic rights, of pieces we chose to accept; following publication all rights revert to the author.

Kathryn Pilles-Genaw, Editor-In-Chief, received her MFA in Poetry from The University of Notre Dame in 2007. She lives in the Northern Liberties Neighborhood in Philadelphia.

Miguel Santos, Submissions Editor and Webmaster, lives in Northern Liberties in Philadelphia. He is a Systems Administrator by day and enjoys unplugging and embracing the arts in his off time.

Lane Jaeckle Santos, Submissions Editor, lives in Northern Liberties in Philadelpha after transplantation from Texas. She is a Post-Doctoral Scientist and self-described book-aholic, delighting in all things geek and cerebral.
